English Horsemanship Camp

This camp is for anyone who loves riding English or wants to give it a try. We'll meet you where you are in your skills and cover everything from the basics to jumping, dressage and even a mounted drill. You'll even get to ride your horse through our pond and, for those with enough experience, try jumping a cross-country course.

Summer at Camp Redcloud means warm, sunny days and cool nights. Since we are at an elevation of 9200 feet, our climate is cooler than that of lower elevations. We recommend that you bring more clothes for cooler weather than for warmer weather. Also, afternoon thunderstorms are HIGHLY likely at this time of year. Please keep this in mind when selecting shoes and clothing. Don't bring anything that you are not allowed to get dirty!

Below is a suggested list of things to bring to camp. Do not go out and spend a lot of money if you do not have all of the items already, but the items in bold are a must. If you have any questions, please give us a call.
